How To Get Someone's Attention, Without Hitting Them Over The Head!
How Can You Get Someone's Attention?
I usually don't like to stand out, well maybe sometimes..but, in marketing your material, your content has to stand out, so it can grab someone's interest.
Here are 4 ways,
#1 – One Way Is To Ask A Question, A Relevant Question. Don't ask a vegetarian how to cook a steak. Of course the question needs to be about your readers interests, or problems, or needs.
Be nice with HOW you ask a question... don't make them turn around and run the away from you.
#2 – Be Unique, Be Different, Be Bold. A bold statement will make people stop and listen, pay attention to you.
One of my favorite phrases is from Jeff Goins, about writers block. He asks "Do you have creative constipation?"
#3 – Images. It's true, one picture really can be worth 1000 words.
Put a catchy, relative caption on your image and it will be worth 2000 words.
#4 – Write With Your Heart, Not Just Your Brains. People love posts / emails that include emotions, that include failures. It shows your audience that you are like them, human! Let it show through.
