How to get rid of tons of emails within 1 hour

now the thought behind the action:

If it's really important, people will call you - that's by the way the fastest way of finding a solution: talking in real!

Whenever my email inbox hits 600+ emails I archive the first 400 of them. Handling approx. 200 is possible, the rest is just wishing for Peter Pans wonderland.

Out of these 600 emails, nearly 30% are "Hey, did you get my last 3 emails?"-emails, which is ridiculous, because the amount of energy putted in writing these emails is much higher than making one simple phone call.

The thing is ... when you are sending me an email to [email protected] you will immediately get an email telling you that I'm NOT going to answer your email in an appropriate time frame. What I also write you in that email is my phone number and the C2A (call to action) to use that number, if your email request is really important.

What happens is, that only 10% of people sending me emails have the guts to call/text me. The rest still email me mail after mail with the hook "Hey Ali, I wonder if you saw my last 10 emails, I sent you in the last 48 hours".

See, the problem is ... once, people have your email they start to fuck up your inbox because it's easy sending an text in the middle of the night with a vague answer, hoping that you know what they need.

But when it comes to an phone call, they must think about what they really want and then hey have to put it into words I can understand while I'm waiting on the line. This is much harder than shooting an email into the web headed to my email address.

Therefore ... if it's important, call me. Talk to me like humans do and keep it simple. Use email after we've talked first.
