How to get out of Struggle and back to Resourceful.

Are you feeling a bit stuck right now?? Or lost?? Or overwhelmed by difficult stuff happening?
Maybe you took on a new venture and now you're wondering if it was a good idea?

Today I want to remind you of the Murky Middle.
The second Act in your story.
?
When you set off on a new adventure, or start a business, or you're tackling a difficult situation, at the beginning you're throwing your energy at it, and you feel optimistic that you can do it.
But at some point you feel worn down and start to lose the faith.
?
"Maybe this was a terrible idea?"
"What if this situation is never solved?"
"I'm such a loser...."
?

It's very easy to get caught up in the details and forget that the Murky Middle is completely normal.
Struggle is completely normal.
?
But if you start to berate yourself for finding things difficult, or blame yourself for getting in this situation, you're going to slide down into a whole heap of difficulty.
?
So I'm here to remind you today of the steps you need to take RIGHT NOW to pick yourself back up:
?
1.? Remind yourself of what you said to yourself when you anticipated difficulty.? Back at the start, you didn't believe it was going to be easy, but what did you tell yourself?? Did you tell?yourself that you'd dig deep, you were determined, you'd be committed and brave?? Reconnect with that energy.? It's in there somewhere!??
2.? Honour the struggle.? When you're in the murky middle, you can't see the other side.? Remind yourself that this is tricky, but you WILL get through it.
3.? Give yourself permission to ask for help, take a break, let off steam.? Relentless pushing is exhausting.? Taking a break isn't giving up!? It's taking a pit-stop before you go again.??
4.? Reconnect with your resourceful side:? What do you need to help you to get through this?? More support?? To drop something else so you can focus on the challenge?
