Asili Glam Presents: Cooking Made Easy
For the past 2 months, I've really been leaning into my passion for cooking and sharing my recipes with friends, family, and followers. Even going live on Friday's on Instagram to demonstrate a dish weekly. It all started on February 20th, when I made this cheese stuffed salmon that was to DIE FOR! I posted the dish to Instagram stories (like I always do) and I had more DM's than I could count with people asking me for the recipe. "Hmmmm, the recipe?" I thought. I didn't even think to write it down.
Soooo... after devouring dinner that night with my hubby, I decided to ask everyone for their email address so that I could write up the recipe and email it out the next day. I had about 50 people who actually sent me their email addresses. I sent the email the next day through a free Mailchimp account so that I could track some analytics and see if anyone would ACTUALLY open the email and read the recipe. I had a whopping 86% open rate. I couldn't believe my eyes. I decided that day, that I would lean into this cooking thing and get over any fear I had of doing so.
Since then, every Tuesday, I send a FREE recipe to my audience (which has grown to over 300 subscribers!) I am seriously in awe of the interest in my recipes and cannot believe how much this whole thing has taken off. It all started out as a test to see if there was interest and low and behold it took off! After the first month of sending recipes, I decided I needed to up my game and put my first product together and that's when my first E-cookbook, Cooking Made Easy was born.
I can't believe it took a global pandemic to get me to lean into my passion for cooking but here we are. Today is the official launch day of my digital cookbook and I hope you will check it out to see if it's of interest to you. The cookbook includes 10 recipes that I developed, wrote, and photographed myself! The idea is that cooking should be easy, especially during this crazy stressful time we're living in. The recipes use some pretty basic pantry staples and come together in no time. I put some serious time, love, and prayers into this e-cookbook. So, I hope when you make a recipe you will feel the vibrations of that love.
I write this essay to say, this is only the beginning. The one thing we can be more intentional with during this stressful moment is TIME. I tried my best to use my time to produce food that warms my soul. I hope to publish quarterly highly curated & themed e-cookbooks just like this moving forward because let's be honest, when was the last time you made all 125 recipes in a printed cookbook?.....I'll wait! lol I am so excited to share with you today, my first e-cookbook available for purchase Now: https://361779.e-junkie.com/product/1658783/Asili-Glam-Cooks-Presents3A-Cooking-Made-Easy
