How to get noticed by art buyers who will love you

I have an artist friend who wants "to be discovered". It's very passive, that.
But it is what the Internet promised.
It was supposed to kill off the middlemen. If someone wanted a painting of their favourite waterfall (maybe for a gift), the promise was they could google "Falling foss painting", for instance, and choose.
In many areas that's not how it's turned out. We go to Trip Advisor or AirBnB to book our holidays, we buy almost everything from Amazon, takeaways come from JustEat. Music comes from Spotify. The middleman is back, bigtime .. and they are keeping most of the money.
You are lucky. With art, there's no behemoth middleman. We are still building our lists, making personal relationships with buyers and living the Internet promise. Of course, we make relationships with galleries and so on, but they are generally independent too. It's a people thing, it's all about relationships.
That's why I love working with artists, because with a few simple changes you can be discovered by more people, but specifically not by people who are just mooching around, you can use these techniques so you get discovered by people who love art and who buy art.
Getting discovered is what my course is all about https://artistseo.blog/make-a-proper-living-from-your-art/ .
If you sell a painting a week at the moment, the simple techniques in this course have the power to double your sales. And not so you're running around like a mad thing trying to keep up with the pace .. your prices will rise, your lifestyle will stay the same (assuming you're happy with it), you'll just get more for your work. Price 'n' demand, innit.
Check it out and maybe I'll see you in there. It's guaranteed so you can't lose (doors close on Friday 8 Nov 2019 tho).
