How to get a national domain name without a local branch
Dear friends,
As you probably know, domain names are already part of our lives because we receive all the news via specific networks.
Usually, when you purchase a domain name (.us, .uk, .fr etc.), the National Registry requires the owner to have an operational office in that country.
We have recently represented one of our Swiss customers, which is headquartered in Switzerland but sells its products in many other EU and US countries.
Our customer must have national domain names in all the countries where he sells his products, but it is impossible to have operational offices all over Europe.
What is our solution@Cosmovici Intellectual Property
Our client has assigned the national domain name to each official distributor in each country. To avoid intellectual property infringement, we are currently working on agreements whereby our client will retain all intellectual property rights to the domain names.
