If you want to get more views of your LinkedIn Profile, you’ve got to improve your HEADLINE.? Here’s how!
First, put your job title first.? Mine is CUTTING EDGE CAREER COACH.? Notice how I put Cutting Edge before my actual job title.? That sets me apart from other career coaches and implies that I have state of the art methods that others might not have.? Also see that I put my job title in all Caps, so it stands out!
Second, enter your 5-7 Word Brand.? Mine is Pioneer in Winning Job Search Strategies.? This sets me apart from my competition.? A great brand will take you several tries to make a really sensational one but it’s worth the time and effort in spades.
Third, put in your Top Skills.? For me, that would be:
Resume Writer | Cover Letters | Major Achievements | Networking | LinkedIn Expert | Interview Coach | Work Samples | Salary Negotiations | Career Change | Event Planner
Notice how I initial capped each skill, so it stands out better and I use a “ ?| ?“ ( 2 spaces, a vertical bar character, and 2 more spaces), which is the upper case of the key just above the Enter key) to separate the skills,? so your individual skills stand out better,
When someone is doing a Search in LinkedIn, all the people who meet the search criteria show up in the search result.? By creating a Headline like this one, the person viewing the search result will see all the major things I offer and therefore are much more likely to view my profile.? Obviously, this gets you more profile views and the attention you want and deserve!
