Technically this should be impossible, but when the year is almost running out and you are late on your deliverables, you just have to find a way, and we know a few we can share.
One - Analyze
Write down every single deliverable you are yet to complete and how much time you actually have. Don’t be generous with time, in fact, deduct a few weeks, days, or hours if you can.
Two - Allocate
Distribute the time that you have across all the tasks according to how difficult/time consuming they might be. This time, be generous. You don’t want to run out of time without completing the task.
Three - Delegate
This is not the time to play hero. If you can get free help, take it! If you can’t, this is the time you actually consider paying for help. Find other freelance professionals capable of doing the task excellently and assign it to them.
Four - Reassess
Take the extra week, day, hour you took out in the beginning and go over the work you’ve done. Whether delegated or personally done, take one final look to be sure everything is done how they should be. Then turn them in.
