Want To Get More Clients, Close More Deals, or Generate Business More Consistently? Here’s how…?

Have you ever wanted to make a more consistent income but struggle to get more consistent clients, customers, or people into your business??

If so, you aren’t alone.

Several years ago, I was working with the largest REIA (real estate investor association) in the US, and trying to gain a more established income for myself. They learn about my success as a real estate wholesaler and background as a “tech wiz” and eventually, they elected me to their Board of Directors as the Director of Marketing. This was because I had helped them achieve success through organic and unpaid marketing strategies.?

As an active member of the board of directors, I was also elected to represent the organization and to be an officer for a larger group called REIA Mastermind Group (RMG). RMG was a collective of about 12 other REIAs. And it was all about helping the other REIAs grow and maintain success.?

I had learned so much about REIA groups during my time there and I was excited to implement everything we were learning.?

But I kept being met with resistance to change and stubbornness by some of the board members when it was time for me to implement. Particularly, it was about spending money on things to grow the group.?

Despite the fact that the organization had the largest budget and most money out of all the others.

There was one particular meeting that I remember because things had changed then.?

Here’s what happened: the leader of the REIA Mastermind Group invited Ron LeGrand.?

A national, big-time real estate investor and marketing professional.? Ron LeGrand was serving a similar audience of people that were interested in investing in real estate.?

Ron LeGrand came to advise the entire mastermind and while many of the groups were struggling to grow their groups, his group was growing and his profits were increasing.?

Not to mention, this particular meeting was during the pandemic, when most businesses were struggling.?

(A story for another time: Ron LeGrand used to be a leader of this RMG group but left…)

Several of the groups asked Ron what he was doing to maintain and grow his business, groups, and events. I remember during the meeting, Ron LeGrand specifically and directly stated that the reason that most of the groups were struggling to grow and succeed was that they were afraid and unwilling to invest money in marketing their groups.?

Most groups were trying to grow without investing money to bring new customers into their events and programs.?

The problem with getting more clients and customers is most people are just like the groups reference above. They are resistant, afraid, and unwilling to invest money into marketing. Despite the fact that marketing is the most important part of any business.?

Makes sense, right?

While, organic/unpaid marketing, referrals, and word-of-mouth strategies all work, they can only take a business so far. Most of these strategies are typically unpredictable, untargeted, and non-specific. You can’t really scale them because there’s too much inconsistency. They are random at best.

And this is why for most small businesses, the money they make from their business is random, unpredictable, and all over the place.?

Think about it, it’s in our nature to seek adventure, have fun, enjoy life, etc. And while you might be a person who is serious about your business, most people are not.?

Most people get easily distracted, which means they forget things easily especially if they are not interested right that minute.?

It’s widely known that in any given market, only 3% of people are ready to buy.?

This means that 97% of people aren’t ready to purchase what we are offering as business owners and entrepreneurs.

However, just because most people aren’t ready to buy at the moment we want them to, doesn’t mean they will not come back to purchase our product or services.?

Think about yourself and how you purchase things. Despite the fact that you might need something, you take time to purchase when you are ready.?

This is no different for anyone else that we do business with or offer products and services.?

Well, how do you resolve this problem??

How do you stay top of mind so that when people are ready for your service or product, they come to you first?

Thankfully, because of all the pain I’ve experienced in marketing, I’ve discovered the solution to this problem…

The bottom line is that when marketing is implemented and done correctly it cures just about all business problems.?

To get a more consistent income, get more consistent clients, and close more deals without struggling with marketing and implementation you need to:

  • Understand your ideal customer/client/niche
  • Create value for your clients, customers, and prospects through educational material
  • Deliver that educational content in a consistent, predictable, and cost-efficient way beyond JUST social media posts and emails blasts

Here’s more context:

Create content for people that they would appreciate and be eager to receive and consume.?

Why??

Because although technology makes things easily accessible, many people are overwhelmed, distrusting, and distracted by all the possibilities of online content.?

Facebook, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Email Blasts, Social Media, ChatGPT, and on and on!?

Think about it.?

Just about anybody can piece together content without being a true expert.?

Have you seen the capabilities of “AI” and ChatGPT??

Groundbreaking stuff.

Anyway, read the next few lines carefully because this is where most people get it wrong…

Most business owners and entrepreneurs think the consumer, client, or prospect cares about them.

They don't.?

And they will not care until you deliver them value first.?

This is where you come in with your expertise and you will deliver educational content that helps them move closer and closer to doing business with you because of the value you have provided as a trusted and consistent professional.

If you are a business professional or entrepreneur, you likely already have much of this content available “in your brain” and just need to find an effective and consistent way to deliver it to your audience.
