How To Meet LinkedIn Criteria For Top Voice Badge
LinkedIn has some specific criteria. They’re a little vague and they keep the exact criteria close to their chest, but the bottom line is that you need to be invited to contribute to collaborative articles.
Invitation Based On Profile Strength, Activity Level, and Demonstrated Expertise
LinkedIn invites members who are active and recognized in their fields to contribute to collaborative articles. Invitations are be based on your profile strength, activity level, and demonstrated expertise.
How To Check If You Already Qualify To Contribute

- On desktop/laptop browser... Go to the Collaborative Article hub at https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/topics/browse/a
- Browse the large selection to find and select your preferred area of expertise.
- Select an individual collaborative article.
- If you see a “Start a contribution” button under your Profile Photo. You’re good to go.

What To Do If You Don’t Qualify
Getting The Top Voice Badge – Things To Know
Once you are able to start contributing to collaborative articles, there a few things to bear in mind.
- It’s important to focus on one top voice badge at a time!
- Only the top 1% to 5% of contributors are awarded the top voice badge.
- Some top voice badges are highly competitive and require more contributions from you.
- Your percentage is updated daily.
- There is a limit to the number of contributions you can make each day. You will see a message inviting you to contribute tomorrow.
- It’s not uncommon to find your first contributions landing you in the top 20%.
- Add the maximum number of contributions each day.
- It can take between seven and ten days of contributing to collaborative articles daily, before you are awarded the badge.
- It is important that others find your contributions helpful. They indicate this with the usual reaction icons.
- Use the three dots next to your contribution to copy the link to your contribution and share this with your network and colleagues. Encourage them to give a positive reaction.

- Provide Valuable Insights: Share unique perspectives, practical advice, and actionable tips based on your professional experience. Ensure your contributions are insightful and add real value to readers.
