Proses pengurusan untuk mengikuti ujian Prometric bagi tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga medis yang akan bekerja di sektor kesehatan di Negara Qatar

Pada tahun 2013 pemerintah negara Qatar mengeluarkan peraturan melalui Emiri Decree No. (7) Of the year 2013 tentang?Establishment the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners.

Berdasarkan artikel no 3 ada 15 poin penting tugas yang harus dilaksanakan oleh konsil yang berada di bawah naungan Kementerian MOPH dengan nama divisi DHP (Department of Healthcare Professions) yang diantaranya adalah:

1. Sets the specifications and standards for accreditation of hospitals, clinics and healthcare centers as training centers for the healthcare practitioners
2. Evaluates the applications for registration and licensing in order to grant or revoke practicing licenses.
3. Agrees on formation of technical committees for evaluation and investigation relating to the different healthcare specializations/scopes, and to approve specialized scientific and medical committees to undertake the evaluation and equivalence of the specialization certificates, as well as deciding the privileges, conduct examinations relating to registration and re-registration or as required.
4. Accredits the bases for evaluating the different medical specializations and define the necessary conditions/requirements to list the name of the healthcare practitioner in the Council’s records which enable him/her to obtain the specialist scope and supervise it.
5. Approves the examinations held by the scientific committees and to ratify the exams results.
6. Accredits and supervises the health specialization programs criteria.
7. Accredits the continuing medical education criteria in all the health professions.
8. Sets the requirements for the ethics of the practice of health professions and to take necessary actions to ensure the compliance
9. Investigates complaints against health practitioners and the imposition of sanctions.
10. Approves the training and development for healthcare human resources
11. Coordinates and cooperates with regional and international specialized medical councils.
12. Cooperates with the educational and academic institutions and the different medical authorities to organized training courses for all the healthcare practitioners to be qualified for their specializations.
13. Realase publications to achieve the Council's objectives and functions
14. Encourages researches and publishing of articles, issues magazines and periodicals in the health field and support it according to the available resources.
15. Holds and attends symposiums and medical conferences and follow up the implementation of its recommendations of its recommendations

Bagi tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga medis yang akan bekerja di sektor kesehatan di negara Qatar harus mempunyai profession license dan untuk mendapatkan profession license agar bisa bekerja di sektor kesehatan di negara Qatar, tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga medis harus mengikuti ujian prometric.

Oleh karena itu bagi tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga medis wajib mengikuti ujian prometric yang dilaksanakan melalui computer-based testing, berikut quick info dan tips bagaimana proses untuk mendapatkan profession license:

1. Lakukan pendaftaran melalui website https://proscheduler.prometric.com/scheduling/testInformation dan isi semua persyaratannya secara lengkap dengan menggunakan identitas passport yang masih berlaku.

2. Setelah selesai melakukan pendafataran, lakukan pembayaran secara online dengan menggunakan credit card/master card sebesar 225 $ dollar atau sekitar kurang lebih Rp.3.486.038,- (cek fluktuasi nilai tukar kurs mata uang dollar terhadap rupiah) (biaya ujian prometric sesuai informasi per tanggal 25 Januari 2023).

3. Notifikasi konfrimasi pendaftaran dan jadual ujian prometric akan dikirimkan ke email peserta ujian.

4. Datang ke lokasi sesuai dengan instruksi yang diterima di email.

5. Ujian prometric akan menggunakan komputer dengan soal ujian sebanyak 150 soal dan minimal nilai kelulusan bagi profesi Dokter 60% dan bagi profesi Perawat dan Bidan 50%.

6. Jika gagal ujian prometric, tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga medis harus mendaftar kembali untuk mengikuti ujian dan membayar biaya ujian prometric dengan biaya yang sama.

7. Saat ini lokasi ujian prometric hanya berada di Jakarta, bagi tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga medis diluar kota Jakarta khususnya yang jauh wilayah dan remote harus mempersiapkan untuk semua pengeluaran baik biaya akomodasi, biaya perjalanan, biaya makan serta biaya biaya lainnya.
