How To Get A Job With Zero Experience.

Sometime ago, during my job search, I came across a job opportunity with so many prospects and I enthusiastically decided to apply,

Screaming; “finally, I don see job”.

Well, my screams soon turned into murmurs as I realized that they needed 10+ years of job experience which was rather ridiculous for a beginner's position.

Whenever I think of this day, I laugh it off, but honestly, it was not a funny experience.

But let’s reason this; the experience requirements that comes with these mouth-watering job offers are sometimes ridiculous. ??

After a lot of research and healing from my job hurts, I realized that a lot of these job tasks demand professionalism;

And truth be told, no organization who started from the scratch will want to crumble down as a result of employing just anyone.

That’s why this newsletter is for you because for every rule, there’s an exception.

Here are several essential strategies to effortlessly secure a job even without prior work experience:

?? Internship:

An internship is a structured work experience program where individuals, typically students or recent graduates, engage for a certain period of time.

Internships usually doesn’t demand experience from interns.

Internships are a plus for me because it gives you hands-on experience and skills required for you to thrive in the work environment of your field.

The primary goal of an internship is to provide practical learning opportunities, develop skills, and gain real-world experience that can help participants transition into their chosen career paths.

Personally, I know a recent graduate who got a very juicy job, immediately he was done with school.

He decided to apply despite he lacked 5+ years of experience and that was because he had a full and well written CV that showed how trained he is through internships while in university.

Infact, he also interned in that firm as an undergraduate.

Apply for internship roles and get to learn beyond whatever is being taught in that company.

?? Volunteering:

I know Gen Zs may likely roll their eyes at this now because we hate any work that screams ‘free’.

Well, I take volunteering works as an opportunity to learn for free and network with people.

Research has shown that about 70% of applicants with volunteering experiences have a higher chance of getting the job. ?

Volunteer for that job and get access to lifetime opportunities that can never be bought with money.

?? Networking:

Have you ever been referred by someone and you get exempted from the application process?

Yes, that’s how powerful referrals can be gotten.

I’m sure you’re probably wondering how to get such referrals,

It’s very easy!

All it takes you is networking and connecting with like minds.

Networking is a very deliberate action that produces even greater results.

Personally, I created a community for creatives and the mind-blowing testimonials I’ve been getting by members since its inception is satisfying.

Some persons have gotten gigs while others, trusted clients.
