How to get Inspired in Music

Abruptly, I'll jump right in:

There are these two songs.

Toma que toma, by Los Angeles Azules

and Boshret Kheir (Good Omen), by Hussain Al Jassmi

https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=C6c8Kvn3nKM&list=RDAMVMj0LDtnAYOSI

I like them both.

But they sound eerily similar. Waaay too similar.

The associated videoclips are also incredibly alike - various kinds of people of the respective countries dancing to the piece.

C’mon, what are the odds?! Gimme a break!

One of them stole the other's more than thunder seems like.

So, which one was first released?

The first should be the original, right?

Not 100%, stranger and eviler (sic) things have happened - see Babylon 5 vs. Deep Fake 9.

But unless proven differently, the first song to be released is genuine. Easy to decide, right?

Hmm. They were both released the SAME year! In 2014.

On a perfunctory search, I couldn’t find a more Department-of-Corrections-like date (get it ;)?)

So, does anyone KNOW? Or, in want of that, what’s YOUR guess?

Who’s the creator and who’s the thief? In your opinion?

Cheers!

Belly dancing lost a great artiste when the guy at the front didn’t take it up ;),
