How to not get hacked when protesting
Here's how you can protest without sacrificing your digital privacy.
- If you bring your own phone then enable full-disk encryption. Iphones do this by default and for Androids, you have to change the Settings.

- Disable your FaceID and TouchID. The best way is to use a passcode instead.
Remember: You cannot be forced to give the police your passcode without a warrant.
- Consider buying a burner phone for the protest. Or, leave your phone at home.
- Lastly, make sure to blur protestor faces or specific features like tattoos. We don't want you to get arrested for the protest after posting images or videos on social media.
