how to get great stuff done despite our differences

…the solutions to an ancient problem
To illustrate this article / post, on addressing those who do not “yet” agree (with Contemporary Health Tourism – ht8), I used the front cover of the book titled “I Don't Agree - Why we can’t stop fighting – and how to get great stuff done despite our differences”, by Michael Brown, a paperback edition of which one can buy for $19.24, through Amazon (? https://www.amazon.com/Dont-Agree-fighting-despite-differences/dp/0857197657? ).
Innovation and Initial Unacceptability
…it goes with the territory
It is inevitable that when an innovation is introduced, which challenges – or appears to challenge – the status quo, it will be met with dissent (disagreement or opposition) from certain stakeholders - it goes with the territory.
“dissent” is an ancient problem – for which, the author of the book I used to illustrate this article, claims, there are “powerful and surprising” solutions – something I concur with.
?BTW, "It goes with the territory" is an idiom used to describe something that is an inevitable or expected part of a particular situation or activity - it implies that the challenging aspect is unavoidable and should be accepted as such.
Although “dissent” has not yet (at the time of writing) been expressed verbally, in writing or through “overt” actions, it may well, come to that, in the future.
I fully appreciate that the change has not gone down well with certain supply side stakeholders.
Consequently, to prepare for such an eventuality, I formulated a “preemptive strategy” (a “tactic” designed to take action before a potential threat or problem arises – i.e., by anticipating and addressing issues “proactively”, rather than waiting for them to occur and then reacting).

I have informally named this “strategy”: if you can’t beat them, let them join you.

I start by explaining that “something has been changed for the better – be part of it” ( ?https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/having-changed-something-better-inviting-others-constantine/? ).
Then I point out that ExCtu (the fledgling Health Tourism “service station” I now direct) and I, are not their competitors.
Nevertheless, even so, there will be those who “hold out” - i.e., resist or refuse to give in – and accept the change “for the better (? https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/resistance-change-health-tourism-constantinides-m-d-ph-d-/? ).
So, let’s look at those who are likely to question and dispute introduced innovations – and resist change:
