How to get Girls on Linkedin
Anyone who has spent more than five minutes scrolling through Linkedin will have found at least one woman complaining that Linkedin is not a dating site. Men are approaching women with the hope of finding love and their affections are not being returned.
There is clearly an issue here and this article is aimed that those men who are seemingly failing to find love on the world's largest professional social network.
Brothers; this is for you.
There are many kinds of women, each of which is beautiful and unique in her own way. On Linkedin your first measure of a woman is her profile picture. The women who choose to upload a pouty duck-face selfie could indeed be looking for love. A male equivalent image would be the flexing of a bicep, or a long shot of a perfect right-angle lunge. I have no advice for you here. When approaching a duck-face selfie lady it’s probably going to come down to how your picture looks, or how your approach defines you.
But, the vast majority of women have the same type of pictures men do. Some in suit jackets, some speaking at events, some just looking at the camera with a smile. Approaching these women (so most women) on Linkedin can be difficult. From what I have read, it’s the approach that is letting so many of you down. I’m a romantic guy and my wife is super hot. Let me help you.
Your approach depends on the type of woman you’re approaching. Scroll through her profile to get a good idea of her employment history. This will help you avoid the standard ‘Hi, you look really nice, can i have your phone number?. If the lady in question works in the financial industry you could try the following:
Hi, your assets make me bullish about our chances. If you agree the outlook is positive, perhaps I can have your number?
If she works in the energy industry:
Hello there, even OPEC couldn’t cap the level of attraction I have for you. I’d increase output to 1.5m barrels a day if you’d agree to dinner?
Perhaps she’s in real estate:
Good day, I need to diversify my portfolio and you are exactly the type of long term investment I’m interested in. Drinks?
So you see gents, a cut and paste ‘you are pretty lady’ aimed at every woman you connect with isn’t enough. The majority of women demand a better standard of romantic approach and considering we’re using Linkedin, that approach should probably be attuned to her employment history.
I know finding love is difficult. You’re in competition with the likes of Zachary Quinto, Rock Hudson, and Neil Patrick Harris. It’s tough out there. But, we have to keep trying - we just have to try harder.
Tailor your message gents, help love find its way
Love the OPEC one! ha!ha! and thank you for brightening up my afternoon Alan.
