These are sound practices. Those who put them in place will win respect and admiration among their co-workers. In my experience, they are easier to embody when supported by a strong self-care regimen - getting sufficient rest, eating mindfully, exercising regularly, making time for meditation and/or reflection. I respectfully question the distinction between "work life" and "other life." The same practices that will get us ahead at work, will support us as friends and family members.
