How To Generate Leads on LinkedIn

How to convert leads to sales is a more important question. I will answer that next week.

Here are ways to generate more leads. If you want to know the science/research behind this, it’s simple.

? As a business owner, this has to work for me first.

1 Get The Basics Right

?

In a world of quick fixes and instant results, consistency and showing up are undervalued. Writing quality content 3 times a week or more helps you gain the interest of another person. The more you write about their challenges and the solutions you provide, the better chance you have of generating incoming leads.

2. Call To Actions

?

I have a call to action 1-2 times a week at the end of my posts. You don’t want someone to read your post and move on. You need to be reminding people. Research used to be 7 touch points to get someone’s interest. Now it’s 12 touch points.

?


3. LinkedIn Direct Messaging

It’s harder than ever to stand out, so I usually send sales messages using video on LinkedIn voice notes. Why?

?

Because it stands out. Also, your tone, energy and enthusiasm come across better on video or a voice note than in a typed message.


?

4. Avoid AI


LinkedIn is a platform where I have built my business, so I respect and admire it. Their AI is not advanced yet. They are working to make it better, but it’s not there yet.

5. LinkedIn Sales Navigator


After I was invited to LinkedIn San Francisco last month, I attended a talk on LinkedIn Sales Navigator. It has many benefits, like identifying key decision-makers. You get notified when people leave the company.? It helps save time on research.

If you can’t send great quality emails and you don’t know how to follow-up, then you’re wasting so much money on Sales Navigator. Like I said in point 1, "Get the basics right." This will help you write better follow-up emails

I appreciate how this is definitely written by you (I'm sick of reading AI-written crap)! And Like you said, AI isn't advanced enough yet to be used full-time (especially on LinkedIn).
