#1 TRUST
Before anything, people need to know you can help them.
Seek first to understand, before being understood.
Your message gets to LAND. You get to be focused out, in service #onelife.
And they get to FEEL from you that you aren’t here to make a quick buck. You get to truly HELP them.
If people have an experience of trust from you in your energy/marketing/message, then they’ll be open to hearing more. Then as you progress through each stage of the buying process (not selling, buying- people love to buy and hate to be sold too)…
… You get to build more trust. Through the right content, experiences, touch points etc. If they trust you, they’ll buy. If they don’t, you’ll never speak to them again. In 2021, with large amounts of uncertain from the masses - you get to double down and trust and create more opportunity for it to be built in your customer journey.

#2 CREDIBILITY
Trust & Credibility go hand in hand. Not only do people need to FEEL you care and can help them. They also get to realize that you are the expert and you KNOW, what you are doing…
Without saying it .
Anyone who is credible, doesn’t say they are credible. They just are in who they be, how they share, their confidence, their content, their branding, their material etc. They exude being the authority.
They don’t need to tell anyone they are the authority.

They aren’t trying to win anyone’s approval.
They express, they don’t impress. And they have the proof, the third party references (client testimonials, media mentions etc) to back it up.
How do you get to raise your credibility game?
#3 INTIMACY
Once people feel like you care, are here to help and they realize you ARE the person that can help. Now they need to feel connection with you. People buy for three reasons: 1) Emotion: They need to feel an emotional tie or bond to what they are buying. This relates especially to something as intangible as coaching. If they aren’t feeling you, they aren’t buying 2) Logic: The logic is needed to justify the emotional connection they feel. It needs to make sense. ROI - all that stuff 3) URGENCY: People need to have a good reason to act NOW. As opposed to kicking the can down the road
And you can guess which one is the most important, right? But in order to connect emotionally with you- we need to ensure the sequencing is right. Trust (every step), then credibility and then vulnerability/intimacy/connection.
If people don’t first trust you or see you as credible, being intimate or vulnerable- they will feel something towards you.
But that will put you in the friend zone.
You need to have a combination of being above their level (authority), on their level (connected/intimate) and below their level (vulnerable).
When you are legit AF and own your s*** so much, that you can apologetically express all of you.
People will FEEL so much more connected to you on a human level and this will bread more intimacy and trust.
Now they’ll start to get to the point where they’ll want to live vicariously through you (because they will wish they can remove their mask like you) and then…
You’ll reach the point where you have a raving fan base and client base for life.
