How to gauge your mental toughness with this 'You Got This' checklist

Mental toughness is a state of mind - thinking in such a way that improves your behaviour and wellbeing .
Like everyone you have a unique mental profile which determines to a greater or lesser degree how and what you think or feel about situations , people and events which in turn affects how you act or behave and so the way you impact on those scenarios.
Understanding your mental profile, which you can measure simply and effectively through the MTQ Plus psychometric tool and then developing the way you think, enables you to work towards better managing mental obstacles and making the most of your opportunities .

- You Got This . You feel in control and can cope with anything that comes your way.
- You have a real sense of clarity over who you are, what you stand for and why and what your purpose is.
- You feel you have control over what happens in your life by the choices you make and the habits and routines you adopt.
- You can control your emotions rather than them control you so that you are calm and can think clearly without adrenalin running amok in your brain.
- You have supreme clarity over your goals and targets and what is urgent and important today and this week.
- You possess a laser like focus on making those goals and targets happen without being easily distracted or prioritising poorly .
- You are adaptable and flexible and can take change in your stride, understanding that change is constant .
- You are driven to be the best you can be and understand that setbacks and failures are an important part of your success .
- You are confident in your proficiency to perform whatever the circumstances.
- You possess the inner confidence to communicate externally your thoughts and beliefs.
