"Howfa, Amina!
(I have to thank my friends Funmi and Nelson for teaching me that little piece of Nigerian slang). Nice of you to ask about my background.
To be honest, I'm a bit of an anomaly.
I've worked in marketing for over 15 years, but before that, I trained as an actor. My last job was in New York working in marketing on Broadway.
I expected to stay forever, but the pandemic had other ideas... and I found myself back home in New Zealand working for Crossover.
I never would have predicted that I would love working here even more than my 'dream' job on Broadway! You can hear a bit more of my story here."
