How food and beverage manufacturers can unlock opportunities with sustainable energy strategies

Hi Reader,

The big news from TM HQ this week is that the latest issue of The Manufacturer magazine is now available.

In this, the first issue of 2024, we look back on a fantastic TM Live event at the back end of last year, including interviews with Manufacturing Leaders' Summit keynote speakers and a round-up from The Manufacturer MX Awards. In addition, we also introduce a new feature to the magazine - our SME Focus. Here, we catch up with a variety of SME manufacturers about how they are growing their businesses in the face of the ongoing challenges facing the sector. Check out the issue below. ??

In other news we speak to Faye Skelton, Head of Policy, Make UK and Huw Howells, Managing Director of Manufacturing and Industrials, Lloyds Bank , about the findings of a recently published report on ESG strategies in manufacturing. The report revealed a dramatic increase in the number of firms that now have ESG as an integral part of their forward planning compared to 2021, with more expected to expand the scale of their ESG strategies in the next two years. See more below. ??
