We are living in a turbulent time, and there is so much happening around us that is causing a lot of anxiety. If you have started a new business, moved to a new city or country, or started a new job, you may be wondering if you are going to survive.
Last year, we started DITAWA farm. An integrated organic farm on a mission to provide healthier options to individuals who want to regain their health through healthy eating. We believe that what we eat is the foundation of good health and that food should be your medicine. If you eat the right foods at the right time and in the right quantities, and right reasons, you will be in better health.
The desire to be part of the solution is noble; however, it has not prevented us from the growth pain associated with managing an integrated organic farm. In 2022 we had many setbacks and, at times, felt like throwing in the towel. But we have kept going because of the WHY that prompted us the start this venture in the first place.

No matter what you are going through and how difficult things may be for you at the moment, you can choose to focus on what matters the most.
I am not in any way saying that a lack of cash flow, sickness, unreliable employees, ungrateful employers, etc., is not an issue. As painful as your present challenges may be, you can choose to let the pain stop you or use it to keep moving.
The things you cannot change can become stumbling blocks when you empower them. This is because those things like where you were born, who gave birth to you, your gender, skin color, etc., are tools given to you to help you accomplish your mission in life.
Therefore, you should focus on changing the things that are under your control. For example, daily reminding yourself why you embarked on your present journey. Doing something about when, why, and what you eat and exercise. The people you hang around with matter greatly, plus the books you read and the programs you watch. You have the ability to choose in all these different areas.
The internal dialogue you have with yourself is crucial, and you are in charge. You are the only person that can stop you. Therefore, make sure that you treat yourself with respect if you want others to do the same. If you don't believe in where you are going and what you want to accomplish, how do you want others to?
