I have been writing since I was 6 years old.? I remember the first song I wrote at that age.? I also remember my grandmother teaching me as a child that words can heal, and words can kill.? This lesson has remained with me.
As many of us know now, there is power in our words, more than we realize. The scripture, Proverbs 8:8, reads, “All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them” KJV.? The word proverb means truism or denotes prudence and wisdom.? Because it is a proverb, use it as instructional wisdom. From this scripture, understand that all the words that enter your mind must or should be affirmative: positive. This is healing to know. ? Know that everything and everyone is energy, and we give life or death to all energy -- often times through our words.? Therefore, your words are most important, so be mindful of the words you think, speak, feel, and write.? With this knowledge, again, know that all words are more powerful than people realize.?
There is a definitive process in how words are to be used.? Again, you must always think and live in the absolute. Be positive.? This takes time especially in this society, but it is doable. You must filter your thoughts to be positive and reprogram yourself to see the upbeat side of things in all situations. You must do these things for God to allow you to create more positive experiences for your life.??This goes hand-in-hand with the idea of not allowing anyone or any situation to steal your joy.
From your reading about proper prayer and meditation in an earlier news update from this newsletter, you understand that your prayers yield or bring about God’s Instruction for your life through your meditation.? This aids you in filtering the negativity from your presence.? As in Job 34:35, KJV, “Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words [were] without wisdom.” ?In learning from Job’s example, you must sift your thoughts through your prayer and meditation to receive God’s wisdom before you speak or do anything.? Remember, what you put in, you will certainly get out of anything you encounter.? Think about it, many people have used the ‘plant experiment’ of the scientist who talked to plants as he or she sprayed water on them and cared for them.? In this experiment, we learn the plant that flourishes receives the good thoughts and positive words from the scientist. While the plant that does not receive deteriorates, did not receive the good thoughts and words, despite both receiving water. The same is true for people who are ill.? The people who out-live the disease are the ones who receive good thoughts and words from themselves and the people – nurses, doctors, therapists, family, and friends – around them during this time.? And the people who do not live beyond the disease receive the opposite.?
There are several ways you can sort your thoughts to generate more optimism.?

Do one or more of the following:
These approaches may seem minimal and even unsophisticated, but the reality is the result of not doing these things can be detrimental. After all, wisdom is usually based in the simple training. Proverbs 15:5, KJV, reads “A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.”? In other words, regardless of how trite the solutions to escaping a person’s negative environment may seem, do them.?
Once you filter your thoughts, all words which enter your heart or brain must be at the best level. Consequently, all words which exit your mouth must be positive.? You may have heard, “If you cannot say something nice, do not say anything at all.”? This is a true adage.? It is important to understand why this saying is true.? This is factual because the circumstances which take place in your life were possibly called to you by your words: whether thought, spoken, felt, or written.? Remember, everything is energy.? And energy acts as a magnet; it must stick to something or someone.? Because you want more positivity in your life, you must call positivity to you.? It takes practice, and as many know, practice makes habit, not perfection.? This means you must step away from your current routine if you do not already live in positive situation.? This must be done to become more cognizant of the words which enter your thoughts and exit your mouth.? It takes definite rehearsal; however, you can and must do it.?
There are educational studies with varied organizations which suggest the more words young people learn between the ages of 0 and 5, the more intelligent they are and better prepared they are for elementary school.? Hence, the larger the young people’s vocabularies or lexicons are and the better they understand the word usage, the better they perform in school.? There are other factors which are equally important, yet the word factor is highlighted today.? Know that increasing your word knowledge and usage is ever-important for us all at every age.? It is important to increase the positive words in your life so that you can view life from a powerful perspective. Expect more positive experiences to invoke a more effective life!?
