How To Be First In Line For 2022 Jobs

It's time to start now if you want to be first in line for 2022 jobs.

It's New Year's Eve, hiring managers and HR employees are taking time off to be with family, and few new positions haven't been advertised in weeks. So what can you do now to prepare yourself to be first for 2022 jobs?

  1. Improve Your Resume:?Your resume is probably average, and looks like most of your competitors - But to be first in line for 2022 jobs, you need to be seen as one of the top candidates. As a recruiter, I review hundreds of resumes per day - almost all of them are just average, making most job seekers appear similar. This includes your resume too, if you're taking advice from outplacement, most career coaches/authors, or had it written by a certified professional resume writer. These resources teach/use the same average resume strategies - so when you depend on them, your differentiation efforts end up being minimal, failing to effectively separate you from the pack.
  2. Improve Your Job Search Strategy:?Almost all job seekers use a similar job search strategy, taught by the same resources as I described above - So your current job search strategy doesn't give you an advantage over others. According to CareerBuilder, the search strategy you're probably using gives you 1:10,000 odds of landing jobs when you've applied, because the strategy you've been taught is based on random applications, volume and luck. But to be first in line for 2022 jobs, you need to improve your search strategy to improve your odds, and give yourself a huge advantage over other job seekers.

If you knew what to do to improve your resume and job search strategy, you'd already be doing it and have already lined up plenty of opportunities for 2022. If you knew what would differentiate you from the competition, you'd already be first in line for 2022 interviews and job offers.

The good news is: I can show you how.

During my next free webinar, I'll show you more of the best ways to beat job search ageism and avoid the biggest mistakes, to avoid age bias and find a great job fast. While we're at it, I'll teach you how to accelerate your job search in Q1 22, whether you're currently employed or in career transition, changing careers/industry/location, searching for remote jobs, or want to make your job search work faster.

This is the 3rd job market recovery cycle I've recruited/coached through, so I've seen first hand what resume and job search strategies succeed for job seekers during recovering job markets. I've also seen mistakes candidates make, causing their recovery job searches to fail. I've been through this before and know what works and what doesn't.

As a top national recruiter who reads hundreds of resumes per day, who has helped hundreds of thousands of candidates in their job search, and seen thousands of employers' job search processes from the inside, I've got a different perspective than most career coaches.

I see that most job seekers do essentially the same things, even when they think they are job searching differently. I see the mistakes that almost every age 40+ job seeker makes that make them lose great opportunities. I also see most job seekers were taught search methods that eliminate them from consideration, because they conflict with the employer's hiring process. You're probably making similar mistakes, without realizing it, maybe blaming the results of these mistakes on employer age bias.

But I've been teaching job seekers to overcome ageism for 14 years by using non-traditional resume/job search strategies that demonstrate impact rather than appearing average. I'll show you how to beat ageism and find a great job during a bad job market by understanding employers' points of view and hiring processes ... and using this understanding to beat your competition.

(I'm not just a career coach. I've also been an active top national recruiter for the last 17 years ... so you'll get advice from an insider's point of view.)

Let me show you what you can do now to change your resume/interview/job search strategies so you can beat ageism during a highly competitive job market. This webinar will help you if you're currently employed, between jobs, trying to change careers, industry or location, if your industry is in decline/consolidation, trying to overcome long term career gaps, family leave, find a remote job, turnaround your job search, get a higher level position, or other tough to solve job search problems.
