How To Find Your Life's Vision And Reduce Your Stress

How To Find Your Life's Vision And Reduce Your Stress

We all know that life can be stressful at times. We may not be stressed out every second of the day, thank God, but we may be burdened with fear or doubts. We might doubt our own abilities, or wonder how we'll ever surmount the wall of problems facing us.

You might struggle with a problem that keeps you awake at night, staring at the white ceiling and wondering what the future holds. You might have a vision, even if it is buried deeply, about the life you want.

You might have that vision, but when you look around, you can be smacked in the face with the harshness of reality. It might not be the reality you hoped or planned for. It might not be the life you dreamed of. Yet, here you are...

In my experience in life and in our experience at Human Workplace, setting a vision for yourself is the healthiest thing you can do, the best way to grow new muscles and the best way to lower your stress levels.

Problems in life are normal, but when we're not sure of our path our problems can threaten to overwhelm us. When we take the time and invest the energy to figure out where we're headed, everything gets easier. Problems still crop up, but they bother us less. We know where we're bound!

Without a vision, getting through a day or a month can feel like driving into a snowstorm with the snow hitting your windshield. It's nearly blinding. It never lets up! When you set a vision for yourself, new challenges won't go away, but you'll find them easier to overcome.

Our new four-week virtual course Find Your Life's Vision and Lower Your Stress will launch on Saturday, June 6th. Like all of our four-week and 12-week virtual courses, Find Your Life's Vision and Lower Your Stress is a self-study course.

Each Saturday for four weeks you'll receive a new lesson and exercises. You'll work on your lessons as it suits your schedule during the week.

This class is designed to help you create a vision of your own definition of success. This program will show you how, by finding out what your purpose is, to find and stay on a path that will bring your vision to life.

Once you know you are doing the right thing (that is, the right thing for you) you’ll may also find constant stress and worry less burdensome than they were before.

Here is an outline for the four-week virtual course Find Your Life's Vision and Lower Your Stress:

Chapter 1: Who Are You?

What is important to you and what do you value? This is our starting point in Lesson One.

Chapter 2: Finding Refuge

In Lesson Two we’ll talk about ways to de-stress and find inner calm along with the confidence it brings.

Chapter 3: Finding Your Niche

In Chapter Three we'll focus on carving out your niche and clarifying your vision for your life and career. You'll write about your vision and create a plan for making it real.

Chapter 4: Staying On Your Path

It’s easy to get frustrated, distracted or dejected. Lesson Four will cover ways to refocus when you stray from the path you want to be on.

The lessons in Find Your Life's Vision and Lower Your Stress are easy to read and are yours to keep, either printed and kept in a three-hole binder or in electronic form, if you prefer. The registration cost for Find Your Life's Vision and Lower Your Stress is USD $129.

I like the articles, but find it a bit ironic that this author doesn't have the type of human-voiced resume (at least on LinkedIn) that he suggests everyone else have.

Excellent article. However, as a long time Life Coach, I've found that stress isn't a "part of life" so to speak. Stress, human stress, cannot be found anywhere "out there." As the amazing and brilliant Byron Katie tells us, stress, like suffering, is only caused by unexamined thoughts, or as I call them.."thoughting" as opposed to thinking. They're not the same. Katie's "The Work," is responsible for the "Master" in my Master Life & Spiritual Coaching.

Stress at times, maybe difficult to handle. However, if time is taken to connect with ourselves, the problem may not be as difficult to be resolved. The content of the article defined accordingly.
