How to NOT Find Your Calling
How to NOT Find Your Calling. This is my ?#?Day? 4 Video of the?#?30dayvideochallenge? . Thanks to Faizan Ahmed Hashmi for posing the question. Actually his exact question was "How do we know what do we want to be in life ? How do we get to know our calling in life ?", but I (in my wicked way) turned it around into How to NOT Find Your Calling.
The reason I did this is because I feel that far too many of us have been thinking of our 'calling' as this one magical work or profession which if we find 'we will live and work happily ever after'. That however is just like the 'prince charming story' sold to us in Fairy Tales. What if it is not so much about finding that 'right match' be it in relationships or in work, but more about discovering and staying in tune with your own inner self (even as you grow and change) and engaging in work (and other activities) that are a natural and flowing extension of who you are and what you love.
I hope you find this Video interesting and useful and if you do then I would love to hear from you. Please do also pass it on to other youngsters who might be 'searching for their calling' and waiting to 'find' it so that it can bail them out.
Happy watching!
