How To Find Rocks On LinkedIn.

How To Find Rocks On LinkedIn.

DEFINITION OF A ROCK: A large piece of rock which has become detached from a cliff or mountain; a boulder.

On paper, if you go back to when me and Brad first met, around 4 years ago... We all were rocks in the sense that we were left dettaching ourselves from society to find something different, outside of the norm. This was something that felt very lonely at times, as well as terrifying. Now, if you fast forward to 2021.. If you are not using the internet... YOUR A MILLION MILES BEHIND!

Finding A The Rock: Being able to find a rock isn't easy.

THE BEST ADVICE I CAN OFFER: Just talk to people. Don't be afraid to jump on calls and have intense chats with people. DON'T LET SCAMMERS OR OTHER PEOPLE PUT YOU OFF! THERE'S NOT AS MANY SCAMMERS OR STRANGE PEOPLE AS YOU THINK. Even though, you may have had many encounters. Brad is a believer in.... You never lose by having conversations, even if they turn out to a bit of a dissapointment. Just explore that feeling that you get inside! Brad is a networking powerhouse. He demonstrated this for years offline and he isn't dissapointing us now.

THE SECOND BEST BIT OF ADVICE: Don't go looking for rocks. Make sure you already have the people you need most in your life. Brad, is a great role model for this. He has an incredible family that he loves and adores, as well as wonderful friends. OUTSIDE OF ANYONE THAT HE HAS MET ON LINKEDIN! Brad is very selective about who he allows close by. He is willing to do whatever he can to help people but he realises the difference. This is immensely important.

AN IMPORTANT LESSON THAT I HAVE LEARNED: Sometimes, even the most amazing/incredible are better of at arms length, or just out of your life completely. Amazing does mean that they are always a good fit. You shouldn't be trying to fill spaces. When you do the maths, sometimes things add up but they don't provide stability. An unstable numbers is always a number that makes you concerned or worried. You shouldn't be worried about those that have been given this position/space in your life.

A TRUE LEGEND: YOU OFFER MORE TO ME THEN I DO TO YOU... It is always very flattering when Brad says this, however when you see someone as a father figure. You can never really demonstrate how much they actually mean to you, maybe across years and decades they slowly, slowly start to get the message!

Brad was the first rock that I found on LinkedIn. I have managed to find quite a few more. Maybe, you will hear more about them soon! It is important to consider that I have had thousands of conversations. I have given people the opportunity to show who they really are on numerous occasions. I haven't been dissapointed often because LinkedIn is a fantastic place to find new friends and partners.

NEVER GIVE UP ON THIS MACHINE! I stopped for a year because I needed to. I realise the importance of being here everyday. Even a few connections can change your life.

LIKE BRAD HAS WITH MINE! :)

Please consider connecting with him. EXPLORE LINKEDIN- LIKE YOU WOULD ON A DESSERT ISLAND!

Much Love, Take Care during these immensely difficult times.

I met Brad through you, Scott Corney. He's a rare gem, and I mean that sincerely, after many conversations.
