How to find joy by doing hard things?
When overwhelmed or feeling sadness and loss, the secret to finding joy is in taking life one day at a time. Difficult periods are more manageable when we don’t overwhelm ourselves. Another way to find joy in hardship is by using our words. When we complain, we create an atmosphere of negativity and despair. But when we speak words of hope and encouragement, we can bring joy to those around us.
Mindset
Cultivating joy in times of chaos comes down to mindset. Do you choose to interpret life as something that is happening for your greatest good and growth? Or as something that is there to nut-punch you when you have your hands full of problems, stress, and sadness? It’s a choice. The sooner you choose to see the empowering meaning, the sooner you can find joy in the most unlikely places.
We need a?joyful life and for some people, it can be challenging to nurture it. Joy can become our weapon against sadness and negativity and at the same time the source of our courage. So how do we find it?
Finding joy
I found joy in doing difficult things by looking around and seeing my peers wasting time. I am a competitive person. So it was pretty soon that I realized how far ahead I can get by doing things nobody was doing. By going that extra mile on the treadmill or by putting that extra hour at work to get better results.
Success and superiority consist of small things, which compile into a productive lifestyle. And that my friends, is how easy it is to be productive.
