Here's What You Don't Know About HR Personal That Could Cost You Your Time.

Corporate executives are you constantly checking LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds for that ideal candidate? (The Interviewer / Recruiter)

“In 2020, 40% of businesses did not meet revenue targets. As you plan your 2022 and beyond, sharpen your focus on your interviewer. Place them at the center of every decision, across marketing, sales, and customer success.

Mr. Sanchez, a well-seasoned business consultant, says over 90 % of the hiring practices that companies use are ineffective.

Madalene Mann agrees that most HR processes used by companies are garbage.

Mann says she has trained thousands of HR personnel on how to be more effective in their careers.

‘’Many interviewers are going with their gut feelings and aren’t able to articulate what a bad, decent, and great answer looks like for each of the questions they ask.’’

According to CareerPlug, 67% of job seekers have had at least one negative experience in the hiring process in the past 12 months. And 58% of job seekers had declined a job offer due to poor experience.

Here are Ten Evil Habits of Interviewers that Pamela Skilling Interview Coach | Career Expert | Co-founder of Skillful found

  1. Not responding to resumes or applications
  2. ?Keeping you waiting
  3. Asking stupid questions
  4. Getting aggressive
  5. Not paying attention
  6. Talking too much
  7. Lack of feedback
  8. Leading you on
  9. Being ridiculously picky

?

  • I think being ridiculous picky is the #1 most infuriating habit of evil interviewers.?

?

  • Even non-evil hiring managers are guilty of being selective beyond reason these days.

?

  • It’s a buyer’s market right now. For every job opening (even crappy ones), it seems there are hundreds of applications (many of them from people who are qualified).

?

  • After meeting with a few awesome candidates, the hiring manager starts to get cocky. If these great people are available, maybe I could find someone even better…and for less money.

?

10. Not getting back to you after the interview(s)

  • ?Add to that ignorant HR Interviewers become fixated on finding an exact match, while many qualified candidates possess skills way beyond the scope of the job description.

Recently a hiring recruiter was asked the question ‘’ Who is your company’s main competitor??

The recruiter responded by saying he did not know.

A better reply would go something like this, I’ll be glad to get back to you on that.

  • From my own observations candidates who have the following training have been turned down because of the ignorance of HR personnel.

  1. Critical Thinking-No business can exist and grow without Critical Thinkers
  2. The APA Writing Style (American Psychological Association) - No business can exist without APA Writing. APA covers-Narrative Content, Persuasive Content, Descriptive Content & Expository Content
  3. Active Listening Skills-No business can exist without Active Listening Skills

Let’s get real.

Do students in college follow a study guide?

Yes.

Meaning they can follow directions and are well disciplined in S.T.A.R.

S=Situations

T=Tasks

A=Action?

R=Results

Are college students well versed in writing?

Yes.

Are college students well versed in Critical Thinking?

Yes.

Are college students well versed in Active Listening?

Yes.

Are college professors well versed in Social Engagement, Effective Communication, & Grading Assignments?

Yes.

What does it mean when a college student has a 3.30, 3.50, 3.75. Or 4.00 GPA and or above?

It means they’re a highly valuable candidate to solve a company's problems and make the company shine.

What does it mean when a college graduate receives a B.A., B.S. MBA, or a Doctorate Degree?

It means they’re well qualified to complete the assignments that a company gives them and even run their own business for that matter.

Do interviewers take notice of the certification in the ideal candidate's LinkedIn profile??

HR Interviewer you did check their LinkedIn Profile right?

Hmmm, I wonder.

Why are so many interviewers in America so unprepared to select proper candidates?

  1. The American School System is based on Black Slavery (a highly oppressive system)
  2. The American School System teaches students how to get a job and not have a Vision.
  3. Because over 90 % of interviewers in America are still using outdated Buyer Personas instead of implementing the JTBD (Jobs To Be Done) Model advocated by Copyhackers.
  4. Outdated Buyer Personas “ What Does Our Ideal Candidate Look Like creates a false?

belief and a false sense of reality which is then forced upon the valuable candidate.

The great author & critical thinker Napoleon Hill said if the American School System was set up properly the average student would graduate by the 8th grade and be able to run their own business.

Wait.

What?

Yes, the 8th grade.

  • 4.4 million people in America have quit their jobs since September 2021.
  • As they say in NASA Houston (Corporate America) we have a problem! America’s interviewing process is broken.

Let’s fix it.

The average job seeker is rejected by 24 decision-makers before they get the “yes,” according to research from career coach and author Orville Pierson

Interviewers you’re not in charge because it’s the well-versed candidate who best articulates their value that’s the Rainmaker (Money) (Money) (Money).

The value of the candidate is speaking however many interviewers can’t hear or see the value they bring to the table, for example, The Candidates Thought Pattern, The Candidates Writing Style, The Candidates' GPA, The Candidates Accomplishments, The Candidates' Quantitative Results, The Candidates Recommendations, The Candidates Milestone Accomplishments, The Candidates Mentoring, etc.?
