How to fall asleep easily.
One of the troubles, that I hear from my athletes is that they have a poor quality of sleep. Since sleep is essential in sports recovery, I decided to write a short article about how easily you can induce sleep.
Athletes often travel to play outside of their hometown and they have troubles falling asleep in a hotel, in a different bed. They often watch Netflix at night or play games. Yes, this is still ongoing issue, and I'm here to tell you, that there is a nice and easy solution that you can do to induce sleep.
There is one herb, that I came across, when I was writing my applications and it is a common herb and not really known as sleep inducer. However, this is one of the qualities of that herb, that it can relax you and make you drowsy, so you can easily fall asleep and wake up refreshed.
This herb is called Sage.
This is a common old-fashioned traditional herb that is used in medicinal healing for centuries. It's easily available in form of a tea. You can even buy fresh sage in your supermarket, and chop it up and make a tea out of it.

Contraindication of using sage is pregnancy, and lactation.
Sage is common herb in natural healing and its unknown aspect of inducing sleep is not well researched. But when you start drinking tea you will feel drowsy and sleepy within probably 15 minutes. It's worth trying it out and see if it's working for you.
There are some cases that people dread going to sleep, because they know that they will not sleep and will wake up super tired - this needs a different approach.
