How To Export Sales Navigator Leads To CSV?

Looking to export your leads from Sales Navigator to CSV or excel? To export leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you must install a Chrome extension.

We all know LinkedIn Sales Navigator excels at creating targeted lead lists, but you can’t export your lists natively.

This can be a problem if you want to import leads into your CRM for prospecting or outreach efforts. Having been in the same situation, I did the legwork and found a free solution that takes approximately 2 minutes.


How to export leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Follow these three simple steps to export your Sales Navigator list to Excel or CSV:

  1. Sign up for a free account on Prospeo.
  2. Download the Prospeo Chrome extension.
  3. Click the export button to extract your search or list!

2. Install the Chrome extension

Go to the Chrome store and download the chrome extension. Click here to open the Chrome extension page

3. Export LinkedIn Sales Navigator Leads

Once the Chrome extension is installed, return to your Sales Navigator search or list, refresh the page to display the "Export with Prospeo" button.

Click this button to start exporting lists from Sales Navigator.

Click on "Next" to start the extraction. An estimated duration will be displayed, but it usually takes under a minute.

Choose the data you want to extract from Sales Navigator

When downloading your file, select from the following options:

  • Exporting format: Choose between a CSV file or an Excel file.
  • Data you need: If there's any data you don't need you can simply remove it from the final file.
  • Type of emails to export: Select "valid only" to get a list of leads with only valid and verified email addresses.

Then download the CSV or Excel file loaded with all the data available on Sales Navigator about your lead and their company.

What data can I export from LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

When exporting lists from Sales Navigator, you have access to two types of data:

  • Lead Data & Company Data: This includes all the information available on the LinkedIn profile and the company profile.
  • Contact Information: Prospeo goes one step further by finding and verifying email addresses.

2. Export emails from LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Extracting email addresses and phone numbers from LinkedIn Sales Navigator is hard: only about 10% of them are available on the platform.

Plus, many of these emails are outdated, which could hurt your sender reputation or waste precious time in your prospecting efforts.

Prospeo doesn't extract email addresses from Sales Navigator; it finds it, using the data available on LinkedIn.

Prospeo finds on average 40% of verified email addresses, making it the most effective way to export Sales Navigator with email addresses. But according to an independent study by Eric Nowoslawski and Clay.com, Prospeo finds on average 19% more email addresses than others “email finders”.

How many leads can I export?

LinkedIn Sales Navigator has two limitations related to exporting your leads:

  • LinkedIn Search Limit: You can’t access more than 2,500 leads per Sales Navigator search. (But there’s a workaround!)
  • Daily Sales Navigator Export Limit: You can’t export more than 5,000 leads daily.

Despite these limitations, using your Sales Navigator for lead generation is still ideal, and I’ll explain why.

1. LinkedIn Search Limit

When using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you may encounter a limit when searching for leads. Specifically, you can view and extract only up to 2,500 leads because LinkedIn Sales Navigator displays a maximum of 100 pages of search results, with 25 leads per page.

(For company searches, the limit is even lower, at 1,000 companies)

However, there's a way to bypass these limits. By splitting your searches into smaller segments using filters, you can effectively extract more leads and emails. LinkedIn tolerates automation tools (like Prospeo, Wiza and Evaboot) since many sales professionals rely on them, but it's important to remember that using extractors with these functionalities technically goes against LinkedIn’s terms of service. Unlike many other tools, Prospeo doesn’t use your LinkedIn account to open profiles. Instead, its extraction system operates entirely in the cloud, allowing you to export your LinkedIn Sales Navigator searches and lists using external accounts. This approach ensures that your LinkedIn account remains completely safe.
