Expand bandwidth
When the server is expanded, the factor limiting its bandwidth is the write rate of SATA disk data. The computing company is as follows:
Theoretical value of capacity expansion bandwidth (Gbit/s) = number of disks participating in capacity expansion in a single cabinet * write rate * 8, 1024
Take the SAS hard disk as an example for calculation.
Theoretical value of expansion bandwidth (Gbit/s)=13*12*130*8/1024=158.4 Gbit/s.
The uplink bandwidth of a single cabinet is 158.4 Gbit/s. When the traffic between the storage switch and a single server is locally exchanged through the storage switch, the theoretical maximum link bandwidth between the storage switch and a single server is 158.4/13=12.2 Gbit/ s, at least 4 load balancing 10GE links need to be deployed between the server and the storage switch.

Take the SSD hard disk as an example for calculation.
Theoretical value of capacity expansion (Gbit/s)=13*12*520*8/1024=633.75 Gbit/s (Phoneix iiiSSD FM-25S3-240GBPS read and write speeds are 550MB/S and 520 MB/S respectively)
The uplink bandwidth of a single cabinet is 633.75 Gbit/s. When the traffic between the storage switch and a single server is locally switched through the storage switch, the theoretical maximum link bandwidth between the storage switch and a single service is 633.75 /13=48.75 Gbit/ s, at least 4 load balancing 25GE links need to be deployed between the server and the storage switch.
The above calculation method does not consider the performance of the server SAN software. In practical applications, the performance of the server SAN software itself has an impact on capacity expansion and bandwidth reconstruction.
If the performance of the server SAN software itself is lower than the sum of the read performance or the write performance of the hard disks, the reconstruction and expansion bandwidth should be calculated according to the performance of the server SAN software.
If the performance of the server SAN software is higher than the sum of the read performance or the write performance of the hard disks The sum of performance shall be evaluated according to the performance of the hard disk.
