How to evaluate an Internet Connection?

Dear Friends,

On the topic of How to Evaluate Your Internet Connection.

There are three numbers to consider,

Download: Lanes to receive information that your highway-to-internet has,

Upload: Lanes to send information that your highway-to-internet has, and,

Ping. Milliseconds (ms) it takes for each IP packet to reach the Internet.

For example, in my office:

- I receive information at 409.04 Megabits per second (Mbps).

- I am sending information at 91.27 Mbps.

- My IP packets reach the Internet in 2ms.

Compare these numbers to what you currently have by going to speedtest.net, and..., let me know.

Remember: your Internet speed means productivity. Get a computer and internet connection as fast as your budget allows.
