Entrepreneurship has been fairly popularised by mainstream media as well as online influential celebrities. From the outside looking in the lives of these entrepreneurs seem perfect, desirable and outright lavish. It is only recent that articles are being published and conversations had in the media about the negative emotions associated with running a business. The article will provide value by offering tips on how to deal with negative emotions in business
Inadequacy
Inadequacy is the feeling or state in which an individual does not feel like they are good enough. Often entrepreneurs experience this when they have to negotiate a deal for a company or in some situations handle employees. This is a method I used to overcome this emotion. I reflect on all my past accomplishments e.g., like how I assisted my sales team to get a client. These methods help gather your self-confidence to conquer this emotion.

Anger
Anger is often the reason why we lose business and excellent talent in the business. If we as entrepreneurs fail to control our anger and direct it towards our teams, this creates tension and this is what contributes to low productivity, especially in the industry Voo C Media Group is operating in. Our purpose is to give brands life by communicating authentic thoughts that resonate with people. Anger limits our ability to be free around one another. The solution that comes to mind is the Acknowledgement of your anger and working with a mediator from a neutral perspective to assist.
Fear
Fear is inevitable, every human being experiences this emotion at some point in their life. This is what limits the growth for most entrepreneurs e.g., entrepreneurs who fear losing their high-paying clients. One of the ways that my team and I have maneuvered through such a season was overdelivering on our other existing clients. By shifting the focus on our current clients and finding other opportunities.
Emotions are what make us human. Our choice to focus on the negative robs entrepreneurs of the opportunity to excel. That is why I find it best to find an outlet, this can be as simple as taking a walk to clear your mind and/or meditate which will reduce the thoughts that engender these emotions.
