FSSC 22.000, like all other GFSI-recognized standards, is among the top voluntary certifications in the food industry.? Due to its modular structure, the FSSC 22,000 differs in particular from the IFS and BRCGS certifications. The FSSC 22.000 is definitely the right supplement if a company already has a certified quality management system according to DIN/EN/ISO 9001 or DIN/EN/ISO 22.000.? Otherwise, it may also be useful to look at the other GFSI-compliant food standards such as IFS, BRCGS, GlobalGAP, SQF, etc.? Some of these standards, such as IFS, offer interesting entry-level variants, such as IFS Global-Market, to gradually approach the GFSI requirements. These entry variants are easier to pass and signal to the customer that the food business operator is on the right track.?
