Step 1
Click Me and select Settings & Privacy.
Step 2
Click Sign in & Security and select Two-step verification.
Step 3
Click Set up.
Step 4
Enter the six-digit code LinkedIn sends to your primary email address and hit Submit.?
Step 5
Choose Phone Number (SMS) and click Continue.
Step 6
Select your phone number, enter your LinkedIn password, and click Send code.
Step 7

That’s it. You’ve got your security on lock now.?
And here’s what it means.?
Anytime you log into your LinkedIn account from a new device, you’ll need to enter the verification code sent to your phone to confirm it’s you…and not a hacker who’s out to make your life miserable.
