How to Embed Podcasts on LinkedIn!
LinkedIn newsletters (i.e. articles) are more powerful than I even imagined.
I have been pressing all the buttons on LinkedIn ??
When you "write an article" as part of your LinkedIn newsletter...
Start typing text and you will see this square with a plus.
Click on the square and you will see these options.
Turns out we can use ?? LINKS to...
Embed Podcasts on LinkedIn!!!
Podcast Players give us a play button right here on the LinkedIn platform...
Here is what embedding a podcast on LinkedIn looks like and some things to keep in mind.
1) The podcast can play HERE on LinkedIn.
The podcast is "embedded" using the link to the episode.
Click the play button on the IMAGE (below) & the podcast will start playing.
Note - Copy & insert the episode LINK... NOT the embed code.
2) The play button.
The play button looks different on desktop vs. mobile.
The button is sometimes harder to press on mobile, but embedding a podcast is still worth it because....
3) EVERGREEN & SEO
When you write a LinkedIn Newsletter / Article and do it with SEO (search engine optimization) and create an evergreen strategy for LinkedIn the article becomes...
EVERGREEN
Evergreen means that it will LAST for YEARS.
Therefore, LinkedIn Articles & Newsletters can generate results for YEARS.
A LinkedIn Article from 2019 still gets shared with potential clients each month.
SPOTIFY (& Megaphone by Spotify)

DESKTOP - Click Play button in the bottom right.
Copy the Spotify episode link and insert using the "links" insert tool.
Mobile Device view of the SPOTIFY player ??
On mobile devices for Spotify the play button gets cut off.
Even though this button isn't ideal for mobile... getting your podcast to be even MORE evergreen online is very powerful.
