HOW ELSE WILL YOU IMRPVE IF YOU DON'T EVEN TRY?
In primary school, my math teacher asked 5 students to stand up and work out a math problem. I knew the answer, but I delayed. I was afraid of getting a beating if I was wrong or worse, embarrassing myself.
·???????What will people say?
·???????What if I fail?
·???????What if I’m wrong?
We often ask ourselves these questions.
My answer was correct. I know that because another student solved the problem, and I got a beating.
I cried, not because of the punishment, but because I was angry with myself.
If I had given the answer and been wrong, at least I would have given it a shot.
Instead, I found myself in a worse position than I had imagined.
How else will we improve if we don’t even try?
We can learn from the things that people say about our failures.
We can learn how to get to the correct answer if our answer is wrong.
Your ideas are not so unique.
If someone needs the answer you hide, somebody else will have it.
How long will you delay?
