In this time of economic challenges, many businesses are just focused just on survival. But your business, your team and your customers don’t want you to just survive. They want you to thrive.
This year's events have thrown business owners into a reactive mindset. It’s understandable. But in “reaction mode,” most people don’t focus on a clear objective – they focus on avoiding issues or fighting fires. You can’t focus on the path ahead if you haven’t defined the destination or if you can’t see past the roadblocks in front of you.
To help get you back on track, ELC has simplified the process to grow and scale your business with the Millions by Design system. Millions by Design gives you three simple steps to follow – so you can quickly get out of stress and overwhelm.
Clarity – The #1 Cure for Overwhelm
Here’s the reality: When business owners look for quick-fix solutions with no business strategy behind it, they keep changing directions. This quickly results in chaos, which leads to stress and overwhelm for you and for your team.
Chaos and stress cloud perspective, objectives and priorities, which leads to a disengaged team and wasting time and money. When you’re wasting money doing things that don’t bring revenue or you’re not maximizing your time to drive productivity, you’re making less profit and growing slower or not at all.
If you want to grow your business without stress and overwhelm, you need CLARITY. So how do you get clarity? First, you start with a clear objective. When you have clear, measurable goals and objectives, you can make a bigger impact by serving more customers and growing and scaling your business.
With a clear objective in mind, you can focus on that and get all other distractions out of the way. You can put all your resources toward achieving that objective. That’s why Clarity is the first, best solution to overwhelm.
Case Study: Clarity in Action
One of our clients, we’ll call him Robert, came to us when he became overwhelmed with the situation in business.
He had been in business for 7 years, and although he had built it to $2 million in revenue, his results were declining. He had challenges with manufacturing and changes in the industry were impacting his profits. He was stressed out and came to us to help him develop a strategy to sell his business.
In his free Focus Finder Session, our very first conversation, it was evident how much he still believed in the potential of his business. But he didn’t have a clear vision of where the business was going and why. So, our first step was to work on a clear target objective.
In just a few months, the client began to see growth again. By going through the entire Millions by Design system, he focused on three simple keys – Clarity, Focus and Momentum, which ultimately allowed him to continue growing and scaling his business.
How You Can Start Getting Clarity Today
To get Clarity in your own business, you want to have a clear picture of where you’re going and how you want to grow. You want to get a clear picture of what you want. Here are some questions to ask yourself to get started:
- What are your goals for the next year?
- What’s the total revenue you want?
- What’s your profit?
- How many hours are you working a year from now?
Write down your objectives and share them with your team. Talk about what needs to happen to focus your resources on achieving your goals. Then, watch what happens.

4 年Great advice. Was just having a conversation like this with a customer. They wanted a quick fix to problems and I had to tell her there were none. We set goals, established milestones and then looked at the resources she had to reach the goals. Keep the process simple so it doesn't add to the #overwhelm.

4 年Without clarity an organization cannot scale with overwhelm, confusion and loss of sanity. It can be like being drenched in the ocean by a big wave. Once an objective is identified that creates clarity and then focus and organized actions are important.
