Effective Job Hunting.

What all ways freshers can get Job

1. Apply for direct jobs as a fresher (More details in the Jobhunting session tomorrow)
2. Offer to work for free or at a reduced rate on short-term projects to companies.
3. Offer to work on a trial or test project for an employer
4. Consider applying for internships.
5. Volunteer to work on coding projects for non-profit organizations.
6. Keep contributing to open sources - GitHub projects.
7. Apply to companies that interest you, even if they don't currently have job openings posted
8. Consider freelance work

Resume tips:

1. Professional summary (First section) - should be the highlight of the Resume
2. 1st page should talk about professional summary & Technical skills very effectively.
3. ATS friendly - JD (Key skills/roles / keywords), 20-30 JDs (0-2yrs in Java)
4. Include keywords in your Resume which is as per the JD. 70% match with all JDs. All 3 sections (Professional summary, Skills, Project)
5. Short project description
6. Elaborated - Role & responsibility
7. 1 project minimum (No. of projects depends on how big the project scope is)
8. The most recent project should showcase your strong skills
9. Prepare your resume as per the need of the Frontend/backend. Not one resume for all.
10. Validate your resume with online tools. And make necessary changes as expected.
