How effective is your training program? Part 2
Every one is preparing for the festive season to cut loose, then the New Years resolutions kick in January...as always being healthier and loosing weight will be top of the list.
What however does a good training and nutrition regime feel and look like?
Achieving your goal whether it is weight loss, to be healthier, or muscle growth, there are a couple of things that needs to be in place; a planned training program, Balanced nutrition, Enough sleep, Stress management, and other social factors.
If you fail on one of these like making bad nutrition choices do not try and over compensate by training harder in the gym. It does not work like that, over doing one part of your regime does not make up for a deficiency in another. All you will be doing is overtraining and increasing your risk of injury.
What to do, if you had one or two bad days...forget about it! If you make the wrong choices on a regular basis look at the root cause and sort that out...more often than not it will be emotional or automatic eating!
Keep your program balanced!
