1) P.C.P (Prioritise Convenient Protein)

Huel are a great example for this. But there is a huge market out their offering convenient protein sources.

I recommend having an emergency stash in the car and in the office.

But you can also quickly make your own with a blender, some protein powder using milk or water, and a few other whole food ingredients like a banana or blueberries or chia seeds.

By making convenient protein availability a priority, you make it easier to consume less calories since protein is more satisfying, and takes longer to breakdown as well as more energy.

Put short: you burn more calories breaking it down than other nutrients and it'll keep you feeling less hungry for longer, meaning a more natural consumption of less calories.


2) Minimise Doses. Maximise Quality.

The simples form of this is I.F. (Intermittent Fasting).

Minimise how many meals you have. By doing so, you remove the had ache of trying to eat healthy at 3 meals.

Meaning you only have to focus on getting 2 meals right.

And to get them right…

..come back to point # 1: prioritise protein + fibre (think veggies, whole food carbs, and less processed).

If you eat out often, think tuna steak, chicken breast, salmon, and more veggies, less chips.


3) Hydrate!

It's a basic for a reason!

Stay hydrated with regular water consumption.

Have a simple strategy like I do.

A decent glass of water in the morning to start with.

And buy one of those massive water bottles if you have to, or as I do, give yourself the task of finishing your water bottle by lunch and refilling it at lunchtime for the afternoon.

Hydration influences bodily functions like you wouldn't believe, including those functions that effect your calorie deficit.

This is easy with a simple strategy.
