As a wife and mom of 2, I have one big goal - to double my income and time off.

Marriage and motherhood come with overwhelming responsibility so in 2014, I dreamed of someday doubling my income and time off.

In my 10-year journey as an Audit Manager, Consultant, Coach, and CEO, I've discovered three powerful steps to achieve this transformation, Read until the end so you can double your income and time off too.

3 Steps to Double Your Income and Time Off

STEP 1: Use Your Pain to Move You Forward

In 2014, at the peak of my career as Audit Manager of Emirates Airlines, I was confused about how my salary and position could not compensate for the guilt of not being the best mom to my 2 young children.

In my mind, I'm doing my best to give them the best life but to my children's innocent minds " I don't want anything, I want you only Mommy.".

So I used all the "mom's guilt" to fuel me forward so I could have a career while raising a family. I took a 2.5-year career break and became a freelance consultant to Emirates which helped me double my income and time off.

STEP 2: Use Your Faith to Melt Your Fears

In 2016, leaving my Audit Manager job to become a full-time housewife was one of the toughest decisions in my life.

It was a dream in my heart to take care of my 2 young children but I heard the voices in my head and the words of advice from family and friends which troubled me.

"There is no turning back, your career might go to waste"

"You cannot be a housewife, it might depress you".

"Are you sure you are making the right decision?'

It was not easy so I used all my faith to melt my fears as I took the unfamous path of leaving the 16-year career I built to create a new path.

I let go of my fear and let God pave the way. I had many career reinventions afterward as I found joy and meaning in writing, coaching, and training others using my 20+ years of experience and expertise.

I never thought there was a career after leaving my job.

As I showed up and shared my learnings, some recognitions came my way -2023 Top 15 LinkedIn Expert in Dubai, 2022 Inspiring Women on LinkedIn, 2021 Number 1 Most Influential Filipina on LinkedIn, Best Career Coach from Global CoachAwards , Best Speaker, Dubai Women of Substance and many more.

STEP 3: Use Your Time and Income Wisely

This 2024, I am at the Top 1% in Marketing, Training, and Coaching on LinkedIn. But honestly, my career and life reinvention from Audit Manager to Coach, Corporate Trainer, and CEO was not overnight.

Many people doubted my abilities. There were many sleepless nights because I got worried if it would all work out.

But I never stopped and I never give up.

For the last 10 years, I consciously invested 10% of my money in upskilling myself so I can be the best Coach, Corporate Trainer, and CEO.

I listen to audio programs while working to hack my productivity.

It was during Ramadan when I started to train and coach others.

I choose to get 1% better every day.
