How to Dominate your Industry using LinkedIn Stories…

LinkedIn Stories is coming…

Whether you like it or not… 

For a quick minute, they will be like Facebook Stories but no one will be watching them.

But with nobody watching at first…  

This gives you time to build your brand.

LinkedIn Knows this is another great way to capture advertising revenue since it has worked in every other social media platform.

For the moment LinkedIn stories are only available to US college students on the platform….

But the Floodgates are going to open soon.

So be prepared…

And being prepared will help you dominate your space!

To help myself get prepared. I spent some time with Aliyah Dastour who is one of the top Video Conversion Coaches in the industry. (She is always dropping some great video tips on her Instagram page so if you are looking for cutting video advice. Follow her there also)

You can quickly get lost in the thousands of options out there for story editors but she has tried every single one of them. Here are the ones that she recommends to her clients are Mojo – Insta Story Editor and Unfold – Story Templates for the fresh and professional look to tell your story.   Planoly: Plan, Schedule, Post – is also another good one to add all your stories in one place and have them automatically scheduled out. For the moment they are great for Instagram Scheduling but I am sure they will be great for Linkedin Stories scheduling when its officially out.

If your looking at creating some longer videos make sure to check out InVideo which for the moment still has a lifetime deal on AppSumo. It’s a cutting edge video tool that I have been using on my computer to create easy professional videos. (I checked out multiple video editing platforms and got frustrated with how hard they were.  InVideo was one of the first ones I could easily use.)

If your looking at adding transcription to your videos Headliner.app is a quick and free way to do it. For the transcriptions, you have to make sure you use the website on your computer and not your phone.

If you need a transcription program that requires more time than Headliner can let you use or files that are bigger than Headliner can handle. Make sure to check out  Happy Scrible which is also running a current Life Time Deal on AppSumo. I recently uploaded a 2-hour file on there and it did a really good job transcribing it all.  Both programs you have to go in and make little fixes. But it makes it easier than you trying to type everything out yourself and then overlaying it on your video.
