How Does Video Solve Your Business Problems?

How Does Video Solve Your Business Problems?

Video is incredibly powerful and popular. Video is being consumed by a massive global audience.

Question is - are you using it properly (if at all)?

It's important to know what issues video can fix for your business. Chances are you won't even know these issues exist, yet. Here's a short list of a few areas that might be causing your business problems - without you even knowing about it.

Search Engine Optimisation

Google made major changes to its search engine algorithm in the very recent past. To get best search results your website must be all-device friendly and feature video! This means, if your competition has a device friendly website that contains videos, well, it will rank higher than yours. Video is a very important aspect of making your business website SEO friendly.

Credibility & Trust

Why should someone visiting your website trust you and what you offer? Without video your site is nothing more than a wall of text, images and graphics. Soulless. A barrier for prospective customers. Video is a window in to the very heart of your organisation. People can see beyond all the text and static graphics and that the business is run by real people and not robots. Remember, people buy from people!

Competitive Edge

Is your competition using video? No! Well then, this is the perfect opportunity for you to catapult your business ahead of them. Video will give you that competitive edge and can dramatically increase the chances of someone taking the next step and making an enquiry or purchase - above your competition.

Information Overload

People are lazy. Don't make them have to scroll through page after page after page of boring text and static graphics. The more text you have the more likely you'll lose that potential customer very quickly. In fact, I'm willing to bet that you're missing potential customers right now because you're asking them to read a novel on your site before they are able to make a decision on purchasing anything. Disaster.

Add a short video to the top of all that boring text. A video that very quickly gives them the nuts and bolts of what they need to know. If they want to find out a little more, well then they will read through all the text. You've just increased the chance of a sale by a significant percentage.

Reaching A Mass Market

First things first, it's quality not quantity. However, if you're playing the volume game this quickly becomes an issue - how to reach that mass market audience? Meme's and cute pics of cats and dogs do move very quickly around the internet and that's great if you sell pet food. People are significantly more likely to share a funny, informative or creative video. TV commercials are still one of the most effective ways of reaching a mass audience and quickly. It's not as expensive as you might think and well worth looking in to.

Social Norms

People expect to (and enjoy) seeing video on your website. Video is now a very big part of our everyday lives. You can't scroll through your Facebook timeline without seeing one video every other post. I get very disappointed if I don't see a video on a website.

Attention Grabbing

People can (and do) very easily ignore text and static graphics. All that money spent and the majority of people are missing your message. Video (visuals and audio) can grab peoples attention within seconds and can hold their attention for many minutes. The video is doing all the hard work, all the viewer has to do is watch and take in the information. Video is a million times more effective than text and static graphics.

Limited Resources

As your company grows you'll be constantly stretching your human resources and budgets to the maximum. There will be a variety of regular tasks that pull on these resources and budgets and can be a strain on the business and can slow growth. Video can help. There are certain tasks/jobs/projects that can be done once, filmed on video and then be repeated forever. A good example of this is staff inductions, training videos, explainer videos, how to videos, user guides and so on.

Awareness, Interest, Desire & Action

It's the four step process that can prompt someone to use your products and services. A video can help raise awareness, drive interest, peak desire and inevitably result in action.

A video marketing company (like www.stadavideo.co.uk) should be able to help fix your main business problems. They're there, you just might not be able to see them or be aware of them - until it's too late.
