How does one market a business that is unable to do business during the Covid-19 pandemic?
One does not.
This is a time to reboot and change the way we operate.
This is a time to understand existing clients and delivering value-add. What more can we do for our clients?
This is the time to either repurpose existing solutions and services OR come up with new services.
How do you keep your business safe with the help of technology during this pandemic?
Use technology to understand clients better. Use it to reach them through various modes and assist them. Repurpose your content and answer client queries.
If you are into manufacturing, switch to products that are much required now. If you are running a physical store, use your connections to procure and delivery products your clients need now.
What are some investments that can be profitable for your businesses during this pandemic?
How do I stay in business during and after this pandemic?
You need to survive today in order to succeed tomorrow.
For this, you need to calculate your minimum revenue requirement: your break-even amount. To this end, you need to approach existing clients and secure this.
When you know “how much” clearly, the rest will follow quickly.
How should businesses be thinking about the future when it is still so unclear how we will come out of the pandemic?
Assume the worst-case scenario and plan for that. Work on what you know and are sure of. We don’t know when the situation will improve. What we know is that we need to survive until then. What are you ready to do for that?
What is clear? Your strengths, your clients, your solutions and the clients’ needs today.
You need to understand people, the life changes happening and the newer decision-making styles.
