How Does Data Analytics Work?

Over the course of my career as a data analyst I have frequently found myself explaining what data analysis is and how it works. To aid in the initiation of the non-expert, I created a 50,000 foot level overview to quickly introduce the systems, human resources, and techniques involved in a data analysis project.
