Yet another strong reminder to answer with all honesty , "Are you knowingly or unknowingly playing a victim in your life"?
Looking at other people and giving them all the power for how we feel at any moment, is nothing but a victim mentality..
Do we really want to put ourselves , helpless out there and have someone attack us. .
Comparison , revenge , judging, grudging , blaming , copying , yearning , fearing , approvals - dis approvals.., excess attachment.., ah..the vocabulary is vast , but all are names of the same game..
Let's understand there are value systems that are ours – caused by our thoughts, feelings, actions and results.
And, of course, we want us to become aware of our own systems, work on them, and take complete responsibility for them.
However, there are other people in the world too; and all of them have their own systems as well, their own archetypes, so to say..
A lot of times, we want to and we actually do end up taking on other people’s patterns. We make a part of our psyche , what infact is theirs and start taking responsibility for them..
This doesn’t serve ANYONE…, -just because someone has done something to you doesn’t mean you have to put all of it into your system, your scheme..
For once , stop doing this and feel free to return other people’s frames back to them..back to the sender!
Deep down, if you genuinely want to be your best, "you need to first develop a profound and strong sense of who you are..and what truly matters to you..", while being less fearful of people’s opinions !
Discover and design your own guiding personal philosophy and stick to it come what may..
Its time , high time, to reflect on the harmful effects of taking responsibility for the patterns and paradigms of others as well as of pushing our patterns onto them.
Listen to the voice within.., "Feel the power of taking responsibility only for your own actions and returning the prototypes of others, back to where they came from..."
Feel empowered , feel free !

5 年Excellent read. every action we take is with some good intentions but some by product harmful effects may be created. when we act we need to consider the HE we are creating so efficacy of process may be defined as =good effects/ ( inputs + harmful effects) we need to maximize this function

- Worked in Pfizer group( Field force, ) for 32 years. Total field experience ---- approx 40 years. Presently,Marketing and Sales consultant/ Writer/ Mentor/ Trainer /Teacher.
5 年A deeper look into this will reveal that every individual is carrying two three different individuals , even inside not only in the external world. The ego state comes into play sometimes . There is a continuous battle going on and truly , understanding self thoroughly as per the responsibilities, capabilities, desires and will power with a sound threshold paves the way. How far and how much the impact will matter in one's life play the key roles. A great and insightful share indeed Namita Sinha ! Had a little time to think little more on this .
