How Do You View your Reviews or Feedback?

One of the take-home works I give my class session for the self-awareness class is one in which most of the participants go back home to ask their family and friends about some?perceptions about them and compare it with what they felt about themselves.

Every year while we review the feedback people submit this is what the observations are like

We all get excited about beginnings and an idea rather than the main thing.

Those people who go out to ask questions to friends and family about themselves always come back with a new perspective of who they finally are and the perception of family and friends sticks stronger than random strangers

I would share anonymous feedback from the session that participant feels inspired them to do better from a family member that stuck for him

“What are some things I could improve about myself?

"Procrastinate less, and be more confident about yourself. you can do so much if you put your mind to it but you usually don’t."

Why does this feedback mean so much to you?

This feedback remained both a challenge and an inspiration because it came from someone who meant so much to me so it meant they were paying attention"

This makes sense because it was written.

These are our observations

The ones who take out time to write down their next steps from their lessons after the workshop stand a better chance to implement most of the lessons than those who wait for the right time

I am of the opinion that You are not who you think you are. You are more. A combination of the awareness you have about your personality. ?Your ability to key into this awareness helps you unleash the part of you yet to be embraced and the understanding of the perception of you from all your circle of friends matters. So keep around you those who consider you high value.

While you ask friends about their perception of your contribution and your family about what inspired them about you, let it be clear that you must have action steps from these conversations

As you end the year, be open to reviewing the progress on how far you have come and define what growth is for you. Read them out to yourself from time to time until it becomes you.

Cheers to A Great Week.
